The Virginia Vascular Society was Founded in 1985 to bring together vascular surgeons and physicians from the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our fall annual meeting serves as a vital forum for presenting and discussing topics related to vascular disease and connecting industry with the vascular suite. Our 2026 KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Niten Singh, MD, FACS

Niten Singh, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon at Harborview Medical Center, Director of the Limb Preservation Service, a UW Professor of Surgery and Chief of the Division of Vascular Surgery. He also holds the Alexander Whitehill Clowes Endowed Chair in Vascular Surgery.
Dr. Singh’s clinical interests include lower extremity interventions, aortic aneurysms, vascular trauma and popliteal entrapment syndrome. Prior to joining UW, Dr. Singh served 16 years in the United States Army including 2 combat tours in Iraq and is the recipient of the Bronze Star Medal. He has extensive experience with vascular trauma and complex lower extremity arterial disease. He has over 100 peer-reviewed publications and 40 book chapters. Dr. Singh has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international meetings on these topics. He is currently the President of VIVA and the President-elect of the Western Vascular Society.
Dr. Singh’s research interests include interventions for lower extremity arterial disease, aortic aneurysms, vascular trauma, and vascular education.

Cancellation Policy
*In the unfortunate event that you need to cancel, the Virginia Vascular Society will refund your registration fee less a $75 administrative fee if the cancellation is made within 60 days of the event. No refunds will be issued within 30 days of the event.

Satisfactory Completion - Learners must complete an evaluation form to receive a certificate of completion. Your chosen sessions must be attended in their entirety. Partial credit of individual sessions is not available. If you are seeking continuing education credit for a specialty not listed below, it is your responsibility to contact your licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for your licensing/certification requirement.

Nurse Practitioners - The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) recognizes the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as approved accreditors and allow reciprocity for AANPCP continuing education credit. 6.25 hours.

- Identify the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in vascular surgery and endovascular therapy presented during general sessions.
- Describe evolving trends in management of peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery disease, venous insufficiency, and aortic pathology.
- Apply new surgical and endovascular techniques learned, integrating them into perioperative decision-making.
